This song is a call to action to protect our planet. All those glazed-eyed politicians need to see an optician because this decade is crucial with no time to lose! I wrote this just before lockdown in the UK but then it was difficult to get into the studio so there was an inevitable delay. I finally finished recording it in the summer with the studio set up for maximum social distancing. Michael, amazing sound engineer and producer, had worked so hard to make this happen...what a guy! During the lockdown, like many other people, I found solace in nature and long walks. Connecting with nature more deeply only makes the central message of the song resonate more vibrantly.
An acoustic vibe with splashes of jazz, folk and Motown. Blending sensitive lyrics with harmonic adventure.
